Afraid Muller's style might not be a fit! Maybe Raymond would fit this team better, he sure has the speed! |

Either Morrow or Raymond would both help. The Canes' are still too thin at the forward position in my opinion. One or two injuries to a top 6 player, and we'll see a repeat of last year, I'm afraid. The better teams all have depth, something the Cane's need and must address. |

Why: because every team needs a useless player
Why not: because he sucks |

Morrow yes. He's a warrior. He's not as useful as he once was but he serves a purpose. Great leader and plays hard. Will do the things no one on the ice wants to do. He will also chip in with a goal here and there. If the price is right it would be a good pick up for the Canes. |

Morrow takes bad penalties and is slowing down , although he is very physical . I would not recommend him for the canes. I liked him for the Pens only for his phisical play , but he took some stupid penalties in the playoffs. For you I think the canes should pass |

I'm not crazy about Morrow. He's definitely on a bit of decline. But I'm even less crazy about the grab bag of almost NHL'rs that are going to be counted on if the Canes don't make another signing.
Dalpe/Bowman/Boychuk/Palushaj/Gerbe/Rask/Nash...
We need LW2 and RW3 at a minimum now. And who knows when the injuries strike. Having a bona fida NHL'r penned in, rather than hoping for the best with the 'kids' yet again, seems nice.
I've had enough of the talent that's been iced on the 3rd and 4th lines the last couple years. Someone who could get even 30 points would be a godsend. |
